Headed back up to the Upper Big Thompson River in the Rocky Mountain National Park. At 6:45 a.m. the day started out a little rough. Bumper to bumper commuters poking up Hwy 36 from Denver all the way to Boulder. Turned up the radio and hunkered down, problem solved. Or so I thought…

The Lanyard is Perfectly Acceptable!!!
The age old question, lanyard or vest? Is one really better than the other or is it a fly fisherman fashion statement? Personally, I’m a lanyard kinda guy. My buddies all use the vest approach. And we still can’t figure out why people use anything that resembles a fanny pack worn high on their chest.
